Wine Tour

Savannah in the spring delights the senses. As light filters through the Live Oak branches draped with Spanish Moss, the eyes are filled with the soft palette of azaleas and spring flowers. Sweet smells fill the air and the warm temperatures tempt us to spend the day outside. This is the best time of the year to tour the private and public gardens that have made Savannah famous.

The 2009 Walking Tours will be done in partnership with the Garden Club of Savannah and their annual North of Gaston Street Tour (NOGS). This year’s tour will be a 3-day event ticket featuring 12 gardens on Friday and Saturday, with a bonus tour of Forsyth Park on Sunday with the Savannah Tree Foundation.  The price for this three day tour is $45 each ticket.  $5 per ticket discount for groups of 10 or more.  Discount applied at check-out.

These tours provide  guests the opportunity to explore private home gardens in downtown Savannah that they would otherwise not have the opportunity to view. Also included is  a Southern Tea: 2p.m. - 4p.m. on either Friday and Saturday with iced tea, cookies and sandwiches served in the garden of the Harper Fowlkes House.

Transportation is NOT provided for any of the tours.
Fully detailed walking tour maps are provided with walking tour tickets.

General admission to the Savannah Garden Expo is NOT
included with walking tour tickets.
